Your DeepSeek API key is required
A key that passes ADAR's readiness check is required before purchase. The current interface says the key is encrypted and saved to your ADAR account. DeepSeek usage and charges are separate from ADAR access.
Google Drive is optional
Drive authorisation is held for the browser tab, while request processing occurs on ADAR’s server. Supported text files and the output folder stay selected for later requests in that tab until removed. Selected content may be sent to DeepSeek when needed, and ADAR writes a request-receipt snapshot to Drive’s hidden app data area while Drive is connected.

Who is ADAR Personal Assistant for?
It is presented for parents and other adults who want help organising personal digital work, from checklists and plans to structured first drafts.
Do I need my own DeepSeek API key?
Yes. A key that passes ADAR’s readiness check is required before purchase. AI-provider usage and charges are separate from ADAR access.
Do I need Google Drive?
No. Drive is optional. When connected, it can provide selected supported files or a chosen output folder. ADAR also writes a request-receipt snapshot to Drive’s hidden app data area.
Which Drive files can I use?
The current version accepts supported text-based formats: plain text, Markdown, CSV or TSV, JSON, XML and HTML. It does not currently accept Google Docs, PDF or Word files as source context. Large or numerous files may be shortened during processing, so do not assume every character was analysed.
What happens when I add a Drive file?
The Drive authorisation is held for the current tab, while ADAR’s server retrieves selected content for request processing. Selected files stay available to later requests in that tab until removed, and their content may be sent to your connected DeepSeek service when needed.
Will ADAR change my original files?
The current interface states that ADAR does not overwrite or delete selected source files. Keep your own backups for important material.
Will every request create a Drive file?
No. A result may appear in ADAR, and file creation depends on the request, chosen folder, connections and supported output.
